DIRECT ACTION AT SENATOR RUBIO’S OFFICE TO HELP SAVE THE AFFORDABLE CARE ACT
8669 NW 36th St # 110, Doral, FL 33166
Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016 at 10AM
Hosted by: New Florida Majority/The Miami Worker’s Center
Please join the Miami Workers Center and Moveon.org for a direct action at Senator Rubio’s office. The Affordable Care Act is in jeopardy of being repealed with the installation of the new presidential administration. The repeal of the ACA would be catastrophic for many people, we all know that unexpected medical bills and medical emergencies can render a families and individuals in financial ruin.
The repealing of the ACA is a femme agenda issue.
Our intention in going to the office is to appeal to the good conscious of Senator Rubio to encourage him and his fellow republicans to reconsider their stance on the ACA. We are also delivering to him a letter that many organizations have signed off on. Once the letter has been fully approved, we will send the link out to you all and you can sign off on it as well. If you have benefited from the ACA and would like to speak tomorrow at the action about how losing your insurance would negatively impact you, please let me know.
